politics and the media

From Glenn Reynolds at Instapundit, via Little Green Footballs:
“‘Off the record, every suspicion you have about MSM being in the tank for O is true. We have a team of 4 people going thru dumpsters in Alaska and 4 in arizona. Not a single one looking into Acorn, Ayers or Freddiemae. Editor refuses to publish anything that would jeopardize election for O, and betting you dollars to donuts same is true at NYT, others. People cheer when CNN or NBC run another Palin-mocking but raising any reasonable inquiry into obama is derided or flat out ignored. The fix is in, and its working.’ I asked permission to reprint without attribution and it was granted.”
How interesting… and not surprising. Obama is clearly a media darling… but is he prepared to be the president? I do not believe so. What do you think?

AMEN. I was recently watching Fox News and a woman was being interviewed because during a McCain speech she got to the mic and asked the media, “Why don’t you hound Obama and pick on him?” She said a lot more than that, but she made a very valid point.
Hope you watch the debates tonight!

I can’t even watch stuff about the election anymore. Its always Obama this, Obama that, nothing ever good to say about McCain. Its beginning to look like a popularity contest.
Ambers last blog post..hola.
As you’re probably aware of by now, I’m not a fan of Obama or McCain. Both of them scare the living hell out of me. My vote is still sticking with Ron Paul, even if I am having to write his name on the ballot. I am so sick of presidential candidates making promises on things they cannot follow through with and treating the constitution/bill of rights like they are just some regular ‘ol piece of paper. Both of those documents are what the country was founded on and both need to be protected. *steps off soapbox*
I get very passionate about all the lying involved in politics, it just irritates me.
