Tomorrow I am leaving for a grand adventure in Europe. For two weeks, I will get to absorb myself in Europe’s amazing history. On the first week I will be on a cruise- my first “real” vacation cruise. On the second week I will be traipsing around Sweden and Britain. It will be incredible.

I will probably have little or no access to the internet while I am away, so obviously I won’t be able to update this website. But I will write, and I will take photographs, and I will have MANY stories when I return!

Woo! it worked!

It’s not that I don’t want kids. But right now I don’t have any desire to deal with an annoying husband or the medical adventure of pregnancy, giving up caffeine, watching what I eat, taking prenate vitamins with dha. Not worth it right now.

Singleness is so awesome- they don’t know what they are missing!

Thunderstorms are a funny thing, I think. The weather is fierce and powerful and almost scary in a really incredible way. But then after the storm- after the rain has ended- wow. The world gains a certain amazing glow. A rainbow covers the sky. It’s phenomenal.

It’s one of the few times when I actually want to be outside. I’m an indoor person (insert dumb joke here) and most of the time I just prefer to stay in my climate controlled environment. I even prefer to exercise at a gym. But after a storm, it would be wonderful to just sit under an arbor and just watch the world. Something about garden arbors, laying under wooden arbors with leaves and vines blowing in the breeze… Our yard is too small for arbors or any kind of fancy garden, but one can dream!

Recently I was asked to review a new type of reusable bag called a Produce Stand bag. It is made by the ChicoBag company. Like all other Chicobag products, these bags are stuffable and come in the shape of tomato.

The really cool part (in my opinion) is that they have these puzzles in sizes from “toddler sized” (a 48 piece puzzle) to “teenager or adult sized” (500 pieces or more). I may just put these puzzles on my birthday/Christmas list. Art is just that cool!
