a wrinkle in my code

Most of you know that I have been working very hard lately to conquer PHP. Lately I’ve been doing a tutorial that walks me through how to design a Wordpress theme.

Tonight, I encountered my first major problem.

I followed the instructions, checked and double checked my work, but suddenly my code is not correct.

I have NO IDEA what I have done wrong. But it makes me wonder if I need to go out and take a class or something, so that I can get a textbook or something like that, and figure out EXACTLY what I am doing wrong.
