Just this week, I was talking with a friend about how long it has been since I’ve been to a concert- in fact, I think the last concert I went to was a Fed*Up concert at the New Earth coffeehouse in 2002.  Fed*Up is no longer together.  New Earth is no longer in business.  That should pretty much describe it.

We hear all the time about crazy concert events.  There’s a new arena in Kansas City, and it seems like there is always a run on tickets for the latest group coming to town- whether it’s Britney Spears tickets or Taylor Swift tickets or even Jeff Dunham tickets.  It makes me not miss the concert scene much!

Good grief.  What a day.

I have spent most of the day fixing computers and fixing computers and researching how to fix computers online.  Seriously.  When did I become such a computer geek?

Every now and then, I’ll think about applying for a “real” job in computers.  I didn’t study that in college, but I really probably could do just fine in that kind of career.  Plus I’d have a regular salary and benefits.  But I really do like writing and being self employed… and I don’t plan to change that anytime soon.

Yes, it has been a nutty day.  I have been at my pastor’s house helping them with their computers- tell me, just when did I learn so much about computers?

Anyway, crazy days like this make me think I need a(nother) vacation.  I need to find a really nice Myrtle Beach resort, like an oceanfront hotel myrtle beach.  A resort in myrtle beach would be delightful.

On the other hand, of course, I would REALLY love to spend time at Phi Phi island in Thailand.  Or at Cape Coast in Ghana.  Or anywhere in the UK.  I’m not picky…
