high school and christmas gifts and more, oh my!

Phew, what a day!  I taught high school math- trigonometry and geometry – which was about as easy as they get.  I gave two tests and “supervised” a review assignment.  The tests were Scantrons, which are wonderful and very easy to administer.

After school I went to Kmart, where I searched high and low for Christmas gifts.  I didn’t find a whole lot but that was okay- I’m very picky about finding good gifts for my family and friends!

I got home around 2:15pm, which meant I had plenty of time before the ‘rents get home to work on their gifts.  So, naturally, I did.  Obviously I can’t write what I am making for them on this website, but to say the least, my right-hand knuckles are sore!

To add to the insanity, I accepted another subbing job for tomorrow.  It’s the last school day before Christmas break and I didn’t expect to find work, but I am certainly not complaining.  It will be nice to get a bit more work in before my two week Christmas break!

  1. Your mistake was going to Kmart. You should have shopped online with Amazon or some other retailer. Kmart is only good for getting cheap stuff for dorm rooms and food. Also, the prices are often cheaper online than at the retail stores. Maybe this will help you out this year. If you go the Amazon route, be sure to sign up for one of their customer programs to get the free shipping.
