I have a friend who is considering getting a masters in nursing. I told her she should consider Saint Xavier University. They have an online masters in nursing program. Also their program has been recognized by the Center of Excellence in Nursing Education. Of course it also contains a clinical component, but many of the courses are conveniently offered online. For nurses, getting an MS nursing seems like such a great career move. You can continue as a nurse, or you could go into public health, administration, or research. Options are really a wonderful thing. You never know where life might take you so you should be prepared for all the possibilities!
