Tonight I went over to my friend Stephanie’s apartment to watch a movie. She’s a teacher and today was her first day back in school, so we were celebrating/mourning the beginning of school and the end of summer. We watched Evan Almighty, which was a fantastic movie. We also ate M&Ms and cheesy popcorn. Fun times.
On my way over to Stephanie’s, the “check engine” light on my dashboard came on. Eeeek, that made me nervous! I was afraid that might mean something was dreadfully wrong with my car, and I just can’t afford a repair right now! Chances are it is just because the mileage has rolled past a pre-set repair date, and it’s not a big deal, but I was (and AM) very nervous nonetheless!

Our check engine light comes on all the time… we have had it in, but they never find anything wrong with it.
Maybe it’s just a sensor?!

Hahaha, I finally found a reason WHY guys are sometimes useful: They know car related things! LOL.
I just finished reading your bio and I must say, we have a lot in common (interests wise). I haven’t traveled AT ALL but I leave for Europe in 24 days for 3 months! I’m studying Political Science over there (thats my major). And you know what? GOOD FOR YOU…For working with a humanitarian organization overseas! I’m a member of Amnesty International and I’ve *always* wanted to do that. I think it would be a life changing experience and I love to help those less fortunate.
Haha, I’m rambling now. But I just wanted to say that i’m super impressed. I love finding bloggers who care about important issues
