Author: It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Kansas City’s “Ren Fest” – the renaissance festival. I think most major metropolitan areas have a festival like this annually. It’s a lot of fun – many people dress up in renaissance clothing, and you get to enjoy re-enactments of many different renaissance-era stuff. You can buy those big ole’ barbeque turkey legs (at least I think that’s what they are!) or many many types of Renaissance-era crafts. Maybe I’ll visit this year. I know it would be fun!
