In a major ruling, a federal appeals court has ruled that American paper currency discriminates against the blind. However, a redesign and overhaul of the entire currency system would take years and cost at least $100 million dollars. Needless to say, the government is expected to appeal the decision – as far as the Supreme Court, if necessary.
