I am waiting.
When did life turn into a big waiting game? I ordered a package from Newegg two days ago, and it is supposed to be delivered today, so I’m eagerly awaiting it. I got lots of great tech stuff and am looking forward to using it.
I am also waiting on Adsense. I am attempting to update my account, but of course I have to wait for them to fix it. Hurry up and wait.
I’m quite annoyed, of course, because I want to go to the grocery store and Hallmark store. I am going to cook dinner for my parents tonight, and I need to get a card for them. So… hurry up and wait. The UPS tracking for my package says it should be delivered today. Hurry, UPS man! Hurry!
I stumbled across this giveaway for $25 today. I think it’s quite brilliant. I’ve thought quite a bit about giveaways, but the challenge of a giveaway is finding something to give away that won’t cost a whole lot of money. Not only do you have to buy the item, but you also have to ship it, and if you’re not careful it can be quite expensive. Giving away money (via Paypal) solves those problems. You can send money internationally (wherever paypal is accepted), and it only costs you a few cents for the paypal transaction, plus of course the amount of the cash. Clever!

Author Ann Aguirre is holding a contest on her site with some sweet prizes. Check it! These are my quiz results…
Your Result: Comm Officer
You never met a language you couldn’t learn. Ironically, you hate serving as translator, but it’s the price you pay for being on the ship. You have a natural, intuitive knack for figuring things out. You’re good at puzzles, decryption, and generally get stuck with all the computer / paperwork that the rest of the crew doesn’t feel like dealing with. Some people might complain, but you’re a bit antisocial anyway, perhaps a bit shy, and you prefer computers to people. If only the rest of these wankers would let you do your job…
